Exhibit: Figuring the Earth - perspectives from the Acad茅mie des Sciences and the Royal Society
Free public exhibition showcasing the collections of the Royal Society and the Acad茅mie des sciences.
This collaborative exhibition brings together artefacts from the French and UK academies of science to explore the efforts made on both sides of the Channel to understand, measure and model the size and shape of the Earth from the seventeenth century to today.
It showcases the importance of international scientific exchanges between scientists and institutions to advance knowledge.
Attending the event
- The exhibition is free to visit and will be open Monday to Friday 10.00-17.00 (last entry 16.30) until 4 October 2024
